We are Paul and Angie Jewell and we are the owners of Buckeye Ridge Bernedoodles and Labradoodles. We started this business in 2003 and officially incorporated in 2015. Paul is a high school physical education teacher and I run Buckeye Ridge full time. We are both graduates of Ohio University. Paul grew up on a cattle farm, a mile from where Buckeye Ridge is located. I  grew up a few miles from here, in the Little Italy area of Glouster. We both have had a life-long love of animals --- especially dogs and horses. We enjoy living in the country with our dogs, Lucy, Dixie, and Big Mac, and our horses, Bar Hopper and Silver. When we aren't working, you can find us on our pontoon at Burr Oak Lake, hiking Hocking Hills, or camping with the dogs and horses at Smoke Rise Ranch. We also spend a lot of time in Ocala, Florida (where our adult sons, Ty and Alec reside). Please take a moment to meet our staff. Each and every one of them is an integral part of Buckeye Ridge.

Ty is our oldest son. He is a graduate of The College of Central Florida, and is a Registered Nurse in The Villages. Ty lives in Ocala, Florida with his dogs Nahla and Mila. When Ty isn't working, he can be found scuba diving, deep sea fishing, skiing, or exploring the rain forests in third world countries.

Steven provides around-the-clock care to our puppies. He is in charge of socialization, crate training, and house breaking puppies before they go home. Steven lives with his parents and siblings, in Ocala, Florida. He is also interning part-time at Buckeye Ridge, where he helps Angie with the day-to-day running of the program. The Stones are the proud guardians of Bella, Ginger, Elsa, and Jade.
