Why Choose Buckeye Ridge Bernedoodles?
Raised in Homes, not kennels!
We ensure every dog in our program receives the attention they need. We have a limited number of dogs in our home and utilize guardian homes to expand our breeding program. Guardian dogs live with their forever family and are with us for a "honeymoon" or to have babies.
Experience.
Experience matters. We started breeding Australian Labradoodles in 2003 and added Bernedoodles in 2013. We have a depth of understanding and experience with this breed and share that with our clients. We attend the Breeder's Conferences each year to learn the latest research in our field from the nation's leading reproductive veterinarians. All this contributes to the excellence of our puppies.
ENS Exercises.
We use ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation), also known as "Super Dog" program developed by the U.S. military to improve performance of future military dogs. We use it to increase development and problem solving skills. It also improves cardiovascular performance.
Volhard Puppy Assessment.
Each of our litters is assessed at seven weeks of age. This assessment, or aptitude test helps predict what a puppy will be like as an adult. Tests are done to determine how well the puppy connects to people, whether he's dependent or independent, dominate or submissive.
